Ground Managers Wanted

AFL Sydney Juniors are on the look out for Ground Managers for the 2017 Independent Schools competition.

The Independent Schools competition continues to grow and this year it will feature 50 teams entered from 13 Schools.

As a result, five venues will be operating every weekend around Sydney over the 13 week season including two weeks of trial matches.

Ground Managers are responsible for the professional running of matches on the day.

Tasks include:

  • Arrive early to set up fields
  • Set up ground manager station
  • Timing of the matches
  • Collect scores
  • Act as a liaison for schools and umpires on the day

Ground Managers will be provided with training and will be paid $25 per hour with games typically being held from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Saturdays as per the dates above.
