GRAND FINAL

In what promises to be one of the games of the season, the Minor Premiers, the St George Dragons will take on Sydney University for the XBlades AFL Sydney Division One Premiership.

The Dragons have been the competition’s most dominant team all season and will be looking to capitalise on their favouritism by winning the Division One flag.

This is the second Division One Grand Final appearance in a row for the club after they were defeated in the 2016 Grand Final by the UTS Bats by one-point.

However, to take the Premiership, they will need to overcome Sydney University. The Students finished the regular home and away season in third place on the ladder, and have been brilliant this finals campaign.

The boys from Sydney University won their way into the Grand Final with a thrilling two-point victory over the Dragons in the second Semi-Final, and will look to repeat their performance and claim the flag this weekend.
