Seeking Expressions of Interest: Coaches for Women’s & Under 19s AFL sides in 2018.

 In 2018, the Magic will field TWO Women’s sides, and an Under 19’s side. We are calling on expressions of interest for the coaching roles for these sides. The roles would require;

  • Sound knowledge of Australian Rules football
  • Ability to work in conjunction with other coaches at the club
  • Ability to communicate effectively to the playing group and members
  • A desire to grow footy in the western suburbs of Sydney across either/both women’s and juniors

If you do not have current coaching accreditation, the club will be able to fund and facilitate Level 1 coaching accreditation with you.

The Western Magic

Formed in 2012, the Magic is the fastest growing football club in NSW/ACT. Initially just a single Mens side playing in Division 3, the club has rapidly expanded to now being two men’s sides, two women’s sides and an under 19’s. The success the club has seen in this time (7 grand finals and 3 premierships) is a by-product of the culture that has been built from the ground up.

The clubs plays out of the world class Blacktown International Sports Park, and has a coaching staff and committee that will provide the support and materials necessary to succeed in these roles.

Come be a part of history in the making. Send your expression of interest to:
