What role do they play for the club both on and off the field? Try to make an impact at every contest and win the ball

The night before the game what will they most likely be doing? Hanging with friends and possibly could find me at the beach

Do they have any pre-game superstitions? Powerade before every game

Reason for nomination this round: 

“Ned was named best-on-ground against Manly-Warringah for a great performance all over the ground.”

“Ned joined us from Canberra this season after moving up to study at the University. Ned is a super-versatile footballer, being able to play across the ground in a multitude of positions. On the weekend against Manly-Warringah, Ned played his role for team, putting in some great shifts on-ball.”

Name: Ally Dallaway

Nickname: None

AFL Sydney Club: East Coast Eagles

Position: Rover

Junior Club: None

Favourite activity to do outside of football: Playing touch footy and Music Festivals 

What is one thing that we don’t know about this Rising Star that they are well known for around the club? Ability to win contested possessions with clean hands

What role do they play for the club both on and off the field? On field Ally is the number one rover and plays a critical part of the strong midfield. Off field she is a great supporter of all club functions.

The night before the game what will they most likely be doing? Watching the footy, hydrating and eating pasta in preparation for the game on Saturday

Do they have any pre-game superstitions? No pre-game superstitions, but off field, she has to listen to the same song in her car before she gets out. Bit weird..

Reason for nomination this round:

“Ally played an excellent game last week, dominating the clearances and contested possessions and set up many scoring opportunities for the Eagals. It was a very strong performance.”

“Ally has worked extremely hard to improve her fitness and skills and the results have been outstanding. She has made the best players 6 times this season and she is now one of the competitions dominant midfielders. She takes on board feedback and works tirelessly to continually improve her game and she is an absolute delight to coach. Her nomination is reward for all the hard work and commitment.”
