AFL Sydney – Match of the Round Coverage 2021

AFL Sydney is excited to annouce two games each round in season 2021 will be covered live on the AFL Sydney’s Facebook page and AFL Sydney’s Youtube channel.

‘Match of the Round’ live coverage will feature one Premier Division Men’s and Women’s match throughout the home and away season. Coverage will include live commentary of all the action along with interviews with coaches, players, club representatives and special quests.

Links to watch live ‘Match of the Round’ coverage will be uploaded to the league Facebook page each week, along with links to access via Youtube. Be sure to tune in and pass the links to family and friends who cannot attend the games in person.

What better way to commence ‘Match of the Round’ for 2021 than with a Premier Division Women’s Grand Final re-match. The AFL Sydney commentary team will head to Weldon Oval in Curl Curl to cover the clash between the 2020 Women’s Premier Division Premiers, Manly Warringah Wolves, and an Inner West Magpies outfit ready to go one step further in 2021. Both teams will no doubt be full of AFLW talent along with some of the brightest talent emerging from AFL Sydney.

The Premier Divison men’s ‘Match of the Round’ coverage will see Manly Warringah Wolves looking to improve on 2020 take on an Inner West Magpies side with ambitions to crack the top five and play Premier Division Finals footy in 2021. Make sure you tune in on Saturday, 10 April to catch all the action live! Match times to be confirmed tomorrow – Monday April 5.

In the first month of the season ‘Match of Round’ coverage will head to Kanebridge Oval in Round 2 for East Coast Eagles and Manly Warringah Wolves, Picken Oval in Round 3 for the traditional ANZAC Day match up between the Inner West Magpies and Pennant Hills Demons and Henson Park in Round 4 with UNSW-ES Bulldogs taking on the North Shore Bombers.
