Newtown Breakaways celebrate 20 years of strength and diversity

Newtown Breakaways 20th Anniversary Launch

2021 sees the Newtown Breakaways celebrate their 20th year in the AFL. On May 8 they launch their 20th Anniversary Celebrations with a Heritage and Community round at Henson Oval.

The Breakaways invite the whole community, players past and present to come along and support the club and be part of the celebration. The club has tracked down founding players and coaches who will be showing their support on the day, plus Best & Fairest medals for each game will be awarded by our inaugural players.

The day offers a fully licensed bar and a canteen serving up everyone’s favourites to enjoy while celebrating the best in community footy. There will be a raffle worth $100s of prizes to be won and 20th Anniversary merchandise to purchase with all funds going to support the club.
