AFL Sydney Men’s Rising Star – Round Five Nominee

 

In only his third game at Premier Division level this week’s Rising Star nominee has quickly become a regular fixture in the coaches best on ground list. Known for putting in the hard yards off the field, Angus Cutbill is rarely outworked on the field and has become a dominant force for Sydney University. An impressive showing in Round 5 against a tough St George outfit has earned Angus this week’s Men’s Rising Star nomination.

Love of the game and desire for being the best he can be.

What role do they play for the club both on and off the field?   

On the field, Cutters is known for his toughness, work rate and for being a team-oriented player. Off the field, its about his extra prep he always puts in for game day.

The night before the game what will they most likely be doing?  

Having a big feed and preparing mentally and physically.

Do they have any pre-game superstitions?   

Always runs and jumps off both legs as he runs out on the field pregame.

Reason for nomination this round: 

In only his third game in the Premier Division team, Angus was once again a standout player in the game vs St George. He was named in the Sydney Uni bests once again for another strong performance, Angus is showing himself as an extremely tough and dominant player on the field, showing his best week in, week out.
