Angus was known as a slim shady lookalike after a questionable blonde haircut
What role do they play for the club both on and off the field?
His role on the field is to provide a bit of muscle
The night before the game what will they most likely be doing?
Night before the game, Angus is in bed early watching a movie with either subway or a pasta on his lap
Do they have any pre-game superstitions?
Reason for nomination this round:
Angus Jones made his debut in the Men’s Premier Division comp this season, after coming through our U19s program last year. Jones worked hard on his craft throughout the pre-season to earn himself a spot in the Premier Division side, and in his three games this season he has already kicked 9 goals. Round 5 was no different, in tough conditions in the mud at Picken Oval, Jones kicked 3 goals, and played his role extremely well causing the opposition some headaches. Jones was named in Sydney Uni’s bests once again, and is on his way to really cementing himself in the Premier Division team.
Coach quote on Performance:
“Jones has been a strong addition to the Premier Division side after debuting in Rd 2. Coming through our colts program, Jones worked hard on his craft in the pre-season and well and truly earnt his spot in the Premier Division side this year. In round 4 at Picken Oval, Jones once again kicked multiple goals and in every game he is consistently giving the opposition some headaches” Lindsay Scown, Head Coach
