AFL welcomes ‘Kids Go Free Month’

Rounds 14 to 17, all kids under 15 will get free* access to Toyota AFL Premiership matches across Australia

The AFL is pleased to officially welcome Kids Go Free Month ahead of Rounds 14-17 of the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

It kicks off tonight with Richmond v Carlton at the MCG, 7.20 pm AEST, followed by a huge four rounds of action for kids to enjoy nationwide.

Kids Go Free Month is a celebration of the AFL’s small but mighty fan base, encouraging families to enjoy the month of kids’ free access and entertainment, activities, and more.

AFL Executive General Manager Customer and Commercial Kylie Rogers said the month of free entry for kids is great for both fans and newcomers to the game.

“Kids Go Free Month provides families and their friends the opportunity to enjoy the electric atmosphere that only live footy can provide, with family friendly entertainment and more on offer around the nation.

“This season we’ve had a wonderful response from all footy fans returning back to games, and we’re excited to help make it even easier for families, especially ahead of the school holidays, to get amongst the action,” said Ms. Rogers.

Highlights of Kids Go Free Month include special food and beverage offers such as a special combo pack with free footy cards, and an Augmented Reality Mascot Hunt at selected games and stadiums.
