Joss Group Facility Grant applications open
AFL NSW/ACT, in partnership with the Joss Group, are pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2017 Joss Group & AFL NSW/ACT Community Facility Grants.
The Joss Group Community Facility Grant Program is in its sixth year and has helped over 50 local community Clubs in delivering over $1.5 million worth of facility improvements.
These grants have been designed to provide funding assistance to Clubs who are looking to undertake small scale facility improvements to enhance their Club environment for the 2017 AFL season and beyond.
The 2016 Joss Group Community Facility Grant Program delivered $298,956 right across the NSW/ACT region. Community Clubs have been able to upgrade their change room amenities to include lockable cubicles, update their playing surfaces, install new scoreboards, and start the process of bigger facility upgrades – all with the aim of providing safer and more welcoming playing environments for participants.
With the success of the inaugural AFL Women’s season, this is also a great opportunity to ensure that all Club facilities can cater to female participation.
In 2017, there will be ten grants of $10,000 available to community Clubs across New South Wales and the ACT, with AFL NSW/ACT and the Joss Group providing funds equally to successful Clubs.
The Joss Group is a family owned regional company, who have been trading for over 35 years. The Joss Group are committed to assisting community Clubs in attracting and retaining AFL players, volunteers, and umpires, by helping them improve their footballing environments.
