XBlades AFL Sydney Round 3 Women’s Rising Star – Libby Graham (North Shore Bombers)

AFL Sydney would like to congratulate North Shore Bomber Libby Graham who has been adjudicated as the Women’s Rising Star for Round 3.

Libby has recently taken up AFL after seeing the successful launch of the AFLW.

Libby’s background in a variety of sports (basketball, rowing, representative soccer, hockey) has provided her with many of the skills required to be successful at AFL.

After a strong performance in her first AFL game in Round 1 Libby followed it up with a best on ground performance in only her second game of AFL. Against more experienced opponents, Libby’s strength in the air and fitness around the ground were telling in the ruck and key contributors in leading North Shore to a win.

At only 19 and so early into her AFL career North Shore hope for great things ahead for Libby.
