XBlades AFL Sydney Round 10 Women’s Rising Star

AFL Sydney is pleased to announce that the 2017 Round 10 Women’s Rising Star is Georgia Davis from the Sydney University Bombers.

Georgia Davis is currently playing her first year of football for Sydney University. At 19 years of age she is one of the youngest in their inaugural Women’s Division One team.

Since joining the team Georgia has consistently trained with enthusiasm and dedication, and has impressed with her determination, speed and agility.

Playing as one of Sydney Uni’s determined ruck rovers in Round 10 against the Auburn-Penrith Giants, Georgia’s speed and dynamic skills were on display. Georgia darted in and out of the opposition, having her hand in several of the Bombers conversions. Georgia never gave up, and took on the opposition with everything she had.

Georgia is one to watch in 2017 and in future seasons.
