XBlades AFL Sydney Round 12 Men’s Rising Star

AFL Sydney is pleased to announce that the 2017 Round 12 Rising Star is Jake Bartholomaeus from the UNSW Eastern Suburbs Bulldogs.

Jake has been in excellent form this season, with the most dominant of his performances occurring in the last six rounds of Premier Division football. especially the last six rounds  excellent 6 weeks of football, creative and highly skilled playing mostly off half back line he has set up several goals with speed and precision kicking. Jake is a Sydney University listed NEAFL rookie and after last weekends best on ground performance he will now be knocking on the door of the NEAFL selectors to be picked in the run into the finals series. Jake has been part of the Swans Academy and has taken the step to senior football with ease and is another exciting junior at UNSW.
