XBlades AFL Sydney Round 14 Women’s Rising Star

AFL Sydney is pleased to announce that the 2017 Round 14 Women’s Rising Star is Pippy Clegg from the Sydney University Bombers.

Pippy is currently playing her first year of  senior football for Sydney University, after finishing school last year.  At 19 years of age Pippy is a dominant force in the Sydney University Premier Division Side, regularly features in their weekly best and is one of five Bombers who have a place in the Sydney University Elite Athlete Program.

Every week Pippy impresses with her skill, agility, determination and hard work. Pippy was exceptional in the Bombers Round 14 win over Macquarie University. Playing in the back line Pippy controlled the defense, created beautiful passages of play and was dynamic in her football. Pippy is one to watch in 2017, and in future seasons!
