THE ROUND FOUR BOY, OH BOY WOWEE OF THE WEEK GOES TO…
Sydney University for their crafty Photoshop work after their Premier Division win over St George. Premier Division player, Jack Prato, got the copy and paste treatment after a picture of a spoil attempt fell into the hands of some savvy – and not so savvy – teammates #MSDosPaintRulez
NOTEWORTHY NOMINATIONS
Sydney University Women’s duo Stephanie Walker and Megan Andresen played their last game for the club on the weekend as they move interstate. Both have been stewards of the AFL Sydney competition for a number of years. Walker also played at the highest level for the GWS GIANTS in AFL Women’s in 2017. We wish the best to both of them and we’re looking forward to welcoming them back sometime in the future.

Macquarie University Women’s for bringing a secret ingredient to their bench – Kombucha. Forget water, forget Gatorade, it’s all about the organic, gluten free, lactose free, vegan, cultured, antibiotic rich drink for the Warriors. But who did it belong to? Is it AFL Sydney Women’s Premier Division Leading Goal Kicker, Simone Freeman who is chugging the stuff at half-time? Is that he secret to kicking all those goals?! Perhaps it was their coach, Dan Ranson trying to bring some zen vibes into the group? We’re not sure, but regardless, namastae Mac Uni!
UNSW Eastern Suburbs Bulldog, Sera Kaukiono, kicked an impressive SEVEN goals on the weekend. She was unstoppable, propelling her team to the ‘W’ and herself into this weeks nominations. Kaukiono’s teammate, Bec Privitelli (of 2018 GWS GIANTS AFLW squad) also kicked a lazy five goals during this game – what’s in the water down at the Village Green?…………………or is it Kombucha too?!
