Brenna Tarrant set for AFLW debut against West Coast
Western Sydney’s Brenna Tarrant will make her long awaited NAB AFL Women’s debut when Melbourne take on West Coast this weekend.
Having been drafted with the 72nd pick last year, Tarrant will finally get her shot at senior level having been an emergency for the past two weeks against Collingwood and St Kilda.
Formerly of the East Coast Eagles, Tarrant was part of the AFL NSW/ACT Talent Pathway for four years and credits the program for her rapid development.
“The Talent Pathway certainly helped me improve,” Tarrant told aflnswact.com.au last year.
“Each year that went past in the program, I saw my skills and those around me skills’ improve drastically.”
Tarrant will join fellow local product Sarah Halvorsen in making her AFLW debut this weekend.
