Seeking applications for Men’s Platinum Coaches for 2022
Macquarie University Australian Football Club (MUAFC) are seeking internal and external applications for suitably qualified and experienced coaches for the Men’s Platinum Division Sides for the 2022 season.
The Club
MUAFC are looking to build on a successful history of performance in the division, with the Reserves side becoming Premiers in the 2020 season. MUAFC operates as one club, and is an inclusive, social club that caters to all levels of playing ability in both the Men’s and Women’s AFL Sydney competitions.
The Men’s Platinum Division coaches will oversee the development and coaching of teams and play an integral role in the continued development of the Men’s football program at the Club, as well as the wider coaching panel.
The Roles
We are currently seeking applicants for the following roles:
– Platinum Division Head Coach
– Platinum Division Reserves Head Coach
Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate the following qualities:
– Ability to drive positive culture and engagement among the playing group
– Great communication skills with the playing group and football committee
– Ability to implement game plans and structures
– Willingness and ability to develop players of various abilities and experience
All coaches expressing their interest must have at least their Level 1 coaching accreditation, or be prepared to complete this prior to season starting (the club will reimburse any expenses for this course). Previous coaching experience is desirable however the club will consider suitable applicants. Player / coach arrangements will also be considered.
