Nomination Details
Reason for nomination this round:
Fletch joined us late last year and has been an essential member of our forward group. Her ability to read the ball and position herself is equal to none, added to this, she can mark the ball astonishingly well (hence the nickname Gecko), and lastly her foot disposal is one of the best we have.
Coach quote on Performance:
“After a bit of time out of the game with injury at the end of her junior career, Fletch has adapted really well to senior footy and has settled in nicely to the side at centre half forward. Saturday was probably her best game of the season, connecting the midfield and forward lines well, displaying her usual strong skills at the contest on the ground and in the air, and capping off the day with a goal. The coaching group are excited to see how Fletch progresses further in the second half of the season.”
