What is one thing that we don’t know about this Rising Star that they are well known for around the club?

Ella travels into the city/eastern suburbs from Cronulla 3x a week to commit to footy training and academy.

What role do they play for the club both on and off the field?

Ella is in her first season with the Bats and she’s already an emerging leader for the women’s program on and off the field. Not only does she reach out to the coaches and playing group to help develop her own game but she is also a player that is happy to share her knowledge and show support to her teammates.

Reason for nomination this round:

Ella made her debut for UTS in round 1. She demonstrated brilliant footy skills in very wet conditions. She played a very attacking half back role which helped her team generate the counter attack coming out from defense. She was voted in the top 6 by her coaches.

It is great to see another upcoming rising star in Bats colours. Ella has been in really hot form through her Swans academy games and pre-season training. It is good to see that she has carried that momentum into her club games and is set to have a big season in the Sydney senior competition.
