What is one thing that we don’t know about this Rising Star that they are well known for around the club?

Ava is a big fan of Country & Western music and is regularly seen changing the playlist to Keith Urban songs to get her fired up pre-game.

What role do they play for the club both on and off the field?

Ava is a contested ball winning machine, we don’t get to see a lot of her at training at the moment due to Giants Academy duties but she is a great listener and always keen to improve when she trains with North Shore. She sets a great example for her teammates during training and on game day in her professional approach to getting the best out of herself.

Nomination Details

Reason for nomination this round:

Ava came in for her first game of the season after being unavailable due to Giants Academy duties and immediately had a positive impact on the team. She won several contested possessions playing in the midfield and applied plenty of strong tackles, having a hand in many of North Shore’s scoring opportunities during the game. She was voted second best on ground for the game.

Coach quote on Performance:

It was great to have Ava play her first Senior game for North Shore this week and she looked super comfortable from the first bounce. We’re very grateful to have her playing with us when she’s not on representative duties and I believe she’ll only improve as we go on through the season.
