Nomination Details
Reason for nomination this round:
Sav backed up her first game of Premier Division for the season last week after missing the opening rounds with the Giants in the Talent League, with a strong performance against another undefeated team in Pennant Hills. Sav was one of five 16 year olds playing premier division on the weekend and was voted by her peers as the “Players Player” in a strong win in the wet. She is consistently looking to improve her game and this fantastic game was just reward for her commitment.
Coach quote on Performance:
Sav is quickly understanding and developing her craft as a winger in the Premier Division side and was heavily relied upon over the weekend when her more senior winger team mate went off half way through the first quarter with a broken leg. Sav’s ability to cover the ground and provide support to our backline stood out, along with her clean hands and tackle pressure.
