What is one thing that we don’t know about this Rising Star that they are well known for around the club?

Kate is known for not being well known at all! She’s an enigma. What many people wouldn’t know is that she is a high level cricketer (her fielding skills influencing her marking style) and also an accomplished swimmer.

What role do they play for the club both on and off the field?

Kate is a marking forward, takes big grabs, and has high accuracy on goals. Off the field – she hates the spotlight. She is shy but confident in her skills

Reason for nomination this round:

Kate had a blinder against UNSW in round 10. She kicked four straight and had a number of goal assists. She read the play beautifully and put her body on the line to take big grabs

Kate Salmon has developed into a prominent member of our squad. She displays maturity above her years and is capable of playing all positions on the field. Kate is a very reliable goal kicker and her ball skills below her knees and overhead are excellent.
