What is one thing that we don’t know about this Rising Star that they are well known for around the club?

Wearing a bucket hat everywhere

What role do they play for the club both on and off the field?

On the field Jay does whatever is asked of him to help out the team whether that is applying defensive pressure or going hard at the footy. Off the field, he is studying physio so over time he will be helping out other SUANFC teams as a sports trainer.

Nomination Details

Reason for nomination this round:

Jay debuted this year in the Mens Premier Division team after an impressive season in the U19s Div 1 in 2022 and a solid pre-season. In only his 3rd Premier Division game, Jay was an impressive presence on the field, really imposing himself on the midfield and contributing greatly to the teams win. Jays maturity and composure was extremely impressive throughout the game.

Coach quote on Performance:

In what was a really tight physical contest Jay really imposed himself in the midfield and lead from the front in contested ball and clearances. His effort areas to get back and assist the defence really helped us generate our offence. For only his 3rd prems game of the year it was impressive to see his composure and maturity in the midfield
