What is one thing that we don’t know about this Rising Star that they are well known for around the club?

Lucy is also a very talented cricketer, having been the club captain of Lane Cove Junior cricket club.

What role do they play for the club both on and off the field?

Lucy sets incredibly high standards for herself both at training and in preparation for games, she is a great example to her teammates on how to get the best out of yourself through hard work and continuous improvement. This translates to her leading by example on field, consistently wowing her teammates with her ability to impact games.

Nomination Details

Reason for nomination this round:

Lucy had a really strong game on the weekend, accumulating a huge number of contested possessions and setting up countless attacking plays for the Bombers with her elite skills. She also went forward and kicked a goal which was significant in a low scoring game.

Coach quote on Performance:

Lucy is a superstar; an incredible footballer at such a young age. It’s not a coincidence that she has performed so well this season, she works incredibly hard off field to get the best out of herself.

She’s super exciting to watch and I feel like a fan more than a coach sometimes when watching her play, with some of the incredible things she’s able to do.

We can’t wait to see where she gets to with her footy, and we’ve been very grateful to have her play with North Shore this season.
