Nomination Details

Reason for nomination this round:

Round 6 was Darcie’s Premier Division and senior football debut against the undefeated North Shore team and showed her talent straight away. Still just 15 years of age no less, Darcie had no issues fitting in at Premier Division level. It was a great moment to see her big sister present her with her first Eagles jumper in the pre game.

Coach quote on Performance:

Darcie started on the wing before being moved to Half Back where she excelled. She provided great rebound in very wet conditions, utilising her speed and power to break lines` from half back. Her ability to break tackles and turn defence into offence was a big reason for a huge win.” – Women’s Premier Division Coach, Ash Moeller
