From AFL Canberra look out for Jayde Hamilton (Queanbeyan Tigers) who will be tasked with winning the footy around the stoppages along with Olivia Fogarty (Ainslie Tricolours) who will be looking to run the Tasmanian’s off their feet down the wide-open expanses of UTAS Stadium.

Men’s preview

Strength from both leagues on every line – look no further than the dominate force in the midfield Alex Smout (Eastlake Demons), key target at Centre Half Forward Andrew Swan (Queanbeyan Tigers), the professional and smooth moving Ned Campbell (North Shore Bombers) and the physical presence and tap ruck work from Finbar Delbridge (South West Sydney Blues). These four players alone with make the Tasmanian coaching team nervous, but coupled with dynamic playmakers Bryon Laws (Manly Warringah Wolves), Tye Gander (St. George Dragons) and midfield superstar Thomas Simpson (Belconnen Magpies) the combined team from AFL Sydney & AFL Canberra will be primed for the challenge awaiting them in Launceston at 4:45pm on Saturday.

The key to the match will be at the contest and across half back, with the tandem of Jake Veale (North Shore Bombers) and Christian Loone (North Shore Bombers) sure to create headaches for the Tassie game plan and give AFL Sydney and AFL Canberra a damaging rebound capacity.

Up forward look for Thomas Faul (Ainslie Tricolours), Hugo Birks (UTS AFC Bats) and Rhys Pollock (Queanbeyan Tiger) to stretch the Tasmania defence while the likes of Ethan Grace (North Shore Bombers) and Joshua Boag (Pennant Hills Demons) may also pop up and hit the scoreboard for the visitors.

All up the Men’s Representative team (including emergencies) is represented by 11 clubs across AFL Sydney and AFL Canberra, with the Queanbeyan Tigers the most represented club with seven players selected in the team.
