The stage is set for the Men’s and Women’s AFL Sydney Premier Division Grand Finals, to be held at Blacktown International Sports Park this Saturday 20 September.

After a thrilling home and away season and finals series, the North Shore Bombers have secured their place in both the Men’s and Women’s Grand Finals, facing off against the Manly Warringah Wolves in the Men’s Grand Final, and Sydney University ANFC in the Women’s.

Representatives from the Grand Final teams met today at the hallowed Sydney Cricket Ground alongside the coveted Grand Final silverware, including Christian Loone who will captain the North Shore Bombers’ Men’s side, alongside Cameron Manuel of the Manly Warringah Wolves.

Matilda Eder, Zoe Hurrell and Olivia Edwards will spearhead the Bombers’ Women’s side when they met Sydney University in the Grand Final, captained by Maryanne Harley.

Later this morning, representatives from all four clubs appeared alongside the team coaches and appointed umpires at the AFL Sydney Grand Final Breakfast.

Held at Sydney Swans HQ, attendees heard from Sydney Swans Assistant Coach Mark McVeigh and former Head Coach John Longmire as they shared their stories and insights to inspire the AFL Sydney community ahead of the Grand Finals.

The festivities for the AFL Sydney Premier Division Grand Finals began earlier this week at the Phelan Mostyn Medal.

South West Sydney Blues’ Finbar Delbridge was awarded the Phelan Medal, while Manly Warringah Wolves star Hannah Woolf secured her second consecutive Mostyn Medal.
