What is one thing that we don’t know about this Rising Star that they are well known for around the club?
Jacob is known for his footy IQ, being clean and his disposal by hand & foot. He is also known for being pretty quiet off-field but doesn’t mind a bit of chirp once he crosses the white line.

What role do they play for the club both on and off the field?

Whilst one of our most talented young players Jacob works hard at training and on game day to get the best out of himself. He is passionate about the club and loves being part of a young playing group that are developing together.

Reason for nomination this round:

After an injury impacted Season Jacob has returned to his best football in the past two weeks. After a 33 disposal game in R16 the 18 year old followed that up with a 35 disposal, 9 mark, 8 tackle, 7 clearance game against one of the best midfields in the competition this week.

Coach quote on Performance:

It has been really pleasing seeing Jacob return to full fitness at the back end of the season which has translated into him having significant impact through our midfield. After an impressive game last week he followed it up again this week with a dominant display against a very talented and mature UNSW midfield group. Jacob still has plenty of upside as he matures, gets stronger and fitter and is an integral part of a very talented young group we have at the Eagles that ensures the future is bright.
