Boy, Oh Boy Wowee of the Week – Week 8

THE WEEK EIGHT BOY, OH BOY WOWEE OF THE WEEK GOES TO…

Camden Cats for Daniel Leary’s Premier Division performance on the weekend.  Dan kicked three goals in under three minutes, well, two minutes 48 seconds to be exact.  He is known as ‘Sam Reid’ around the club due to his uncanny resemblance to the star Swan and it is easy to see why with performances like these. Congrats Sam…whoops, sorry Dan…for slotting the Week 8 Boy, Oh Boy Wowee of the Week.

NOTEWORTHY NOMINATIONS GO TO…

The Western Wolves for kicking off Sir Doug Nicholls Round in style at Picken Oval. This not only included a smoking ceremony and Welcome to Country, but also the presentation of specially painted Sherrin. Young artist and Western Wolves player, Zoe Betar painted the match ball to celebrate the round that has become a tradition at Wests in recent years. Keep up the great work Wests!

The Pennant Hills Demons for one of the strangest community football injury’s we have ever seen.  On the weekend club physio, Lauren Wright was thrown a curve ball as a player ran to the bench after receiving a dog bite on the glute! Y’ouch!
