AFL Sydney Men’s Rising Star – Round Four Nominee

This week’s nominee has quickly earned the praise of his coaches and teammates since joining the senior ranks this season. Bodey plays with a level of courage and intelligence well beyond his years and at just 18 years of age, it’s exciting to think just how good he can get. A key contributor to the Bat’s early success, Bodey was once again one of UTS’s best players in a narrow round four loss to the reigning Premiers, Sydney University.

Nomination Details

Reason for nomination this round:

Coach quote on Performance:

“Bodey has become a huge player for us in a very short space of time. He shows outstanding courage and intelligence for someone so young and was one of our best players against a well drilled and physical Sydney University team. He already looks like he has been playing senior football for many years at 18, and I can’t wait to see him improve into an outstanding player this year”. Kyle Emley, Head Coach.
