Maddie is the perfect example of what hard work and commitment embodies.”

“Maddie’s commitment to the ball and intent to hold the forward structure with her leads and pace helped with the Inner West Magpies large scoreboard pressure against Newtown. It was exciting seeing her perform in her first game and showed the future she has ahead of her is limitless!”

Reason for nomination this round:

“Charlie kicked 5 goals with 3 of them coming in the first quarter together with mark of the day, is only small in stature but has been ready for round one in Premier Division training strongly in the pre-season.”

Coach quote on Performance:

“Chuck started by booting the first 2 goals of the game to end up with 3 goals in an electrifying first quarter, he has excelled in the pre-season and this has benefited his game. Chuck has a great ability to read the ball in the air and compete for it even when out sized. Keeping his feet around a contest and when landing from an aerial contest are the key to his ability to always being dangerous when the ball is in his area. I look forward seeing him continue to develop and get better as the year goes on.”
