Coaches wanted – Wollondilly Knights AFC
The Wollondilly Knights Senior Australian Rules Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for coaches and team managers for the 2020 season.
The Knights have experienced a great deal of success in recent years, some highlights include:
- 2015 – Men’s Division Four Premiers
- 2016 – Men’s Division Three Premiers
- 2018 & 2019 – Women’s Division Two team were on the finals trail
The Wollondilly Knights are looking to further develop the growth of the club by entering into the 2020 season with a Women’s Division Two team, Men’s Division One and Three teams and a Masters team in the AFL Sydney competition.
With the growth of the Wollondilly Shire we are looking to expand our ever-growing family orientated all abilities club and we want everyone to be part of this.
We are currently seeking dedicated coaching staff for both Men’s Division One, Three & Masters teams and our Women’s Team to be part of the journey in 2020.
- Men’s Senior Coach, Assistant Coach (Div. 1)
- Men’s Senior Coach, Assistant Coach (Div. 3)
- Men’s Coach, (Masters)
- Women’s Senior Coach, Assistant Coach (Div. 2)
The Successful applicants will possess the following attributes:
- Great Communication Skills-Ability to implement game plans and structures-Strong leadership skills
- Willingness and ability to develop players of various abilities and experience
All Coaches should possess their Level 1 Coaching Accreditation or be prepared to complete this prior to the 2020 season (the Club will reimburse all expenses for this course). Previous coaching experience is desirable however we will consider all suitable applicants.
