XBlades AFL Sydney Round 8 Women’s Rising Star – Rylee McGartland (Wollongong Saints)

AFL Sydney is pleased to announce that the 2017 Round 8 Women’s Rising Star is Rylee McGartland from the Wollongong Saints.

 

Rylee joined the Saints in 2017, making her debut in the starting team against Western Magic in round 1. Coming from a soccer background Rylee has many transferrable skills and has taken incredibly well to AFL. Rylee has cemented herself as a key forward and active midfielder who is strong in contested marking and a dominant goal kicker.
