Quote about this volunteer’s contribution to the club:
Legend can be an overused term, but that is not the case for Al Abbott – he is a club legend. There is not a part of the clubs success today that Al hasn’t been involved in, from helping to set up the first women’s teams (Al’s Angels) to running the bar and volunteering at all functions.  We truly love Al Abbott at the club.
Why are they such a valued part of the club?
Well done, is so much better than well said. Al is always doing, no fuss he gets things done.
How can people get involved in volunteering at your club?
Our club mantra for volunteers is “one job” – we don’t want to burn out our new volunteers and by focusing on one job per volunteer we share the load. Contact president@phafl.com.au to see what “one job” you can help with.
