Nomination Details
Reason for nomination this round:
Angus Jones made his debut in the Men’s Premier Division comp this season, after coming through our U19s program last year. Jones worked hard on his craft throughout the pre-season to earn himself a spot in the Premier Division side, and in his three games this season he has already kicked 9 goals. Round 5 was no different, in tough conditions in the mud at Picken Oval, Jones kicked 3 goals, and played his role extremely well causing the opposition some headaches. Jones was named in Sydney Uni’s bests once again, and is on his way to really cementing himself in the Premier Division team.
Coach quote on Performance:

In round 4 at Picken Oval, Jones once again kicked multiple goals and in every game he is consistently giving the opposition some headaches” Lindsay Scown, Head Coach
