AFL Sydney Representative Football: Squad Announcement – Monday, May 6

Senior Representative football returns with a much-anticipated matchup between AFL Sydney and AFL Canberra on Saturday, May 18 at Manuka Oval in Canberra. Ahead of a further media release on the representative fixtures in the coming weeks, AFL Sydney are pleased to announce the men’s and women’s squads.

AFL Sydney vs. AFL Canberra – Key Details:

Date: Saturday, May 18

Venue: Manuka Oval, Canberra

Match Times: Women’s commencing at 12:00pm and Men’s at 2:00pm

Streaming: Live on Streamer

Entry: $10 for adults, $5 for concession, Under 12’s Free. Tickets to be available via Eventbrite, more information to come next week.

Training will commence for both squads this week, with the final teams to face Canberra to be released by Thursday, May 16.

AFL Sydney wishes to thank all team staff, players in the squads and AFL Sydney Clubs for their support and advocacy for the return of senior representative football.

It would be great to have as much support for our teams as possible at Manuka Oval, so please plan a trip to the nation’s capital on May 18 and enjoy some fantastic senior representative football.

Following the matches on Saturday May 18, a combined team will be selected to represent both leagues for a men’s and women’s match vs. AFL Tasmania at UTAS Stadium, (York Park) in Launceston on Saturday, July 20.
