St George AFC Seeking Under 19’s Division One Coach for Season 2022
St. George AFC is looking for a coach for our U19s Div 1 squad for season 2022.
As a critically important role in the development of young footballers across our club, the ideal applicant will have good knowledge of AFL skills and game styles, as well as the ability to effectively communicate to young men, so as to develop their skills and knowledge of the game, in addition to ensuring they enjoy their time at the club and playing experience.
We draw players from 7 local junior clubs, as well as attract players currently participating in the Swans and Giants Academy. Our U19s have a strong record of success having played finals in 8 of the last 10 seasons, including 2 premierships within that time.
St. George AFC has a positive inclusive culture that treats all players and stakeholders with respect. We have 7 teams across our club including a men’s Premier Division team.
CAPABILITY PROFILE
Formal Education
- Hold current or willing to apply for a volunteer “Working with Children Check”
- Hold AFL Coaching Level 1 and/or Level 2 Accreditation
Previous Experience
- Successfully coached at equivalent levels or higher
