Nomination Details
Reason for nomination this round:
In only his fourth Premier Division match, Max really stepped up in what was a tight physical contest for all four quarters. His ability to apply pressure and impact contests constantly throughout the game was integral in Sydney Uni getting the win. For a young player, Max played an extremely stand out game against a tough and experiences opponent.
Coach quote on Performance:
“Max really stepped up to the occasion Friday night. His willingness to leave his man and impact contest was really valuable and helped save us multiple times throughout the match. In what was a tight physical contest right the way through, Max never took a backwards step and imposed himself breaking lines with his run off half back, and desperation to affect everything in his area. Was a great showing from a young player in his first big test of the season.”- Matt Vicic, Men’s Senior Coach
