ABOUT THE BATS

The UTS Australian Football Club has grown to become one of the largest AFL clubs in Sydney, and the biggest in the city’s eastern suburbs with nine teams playing in AFL Sydney’s men’s and women’s competitions.

The Bats are the only AFL Sydney Premier Division club that plays and trains in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, playing its home games at historic Trumper Park Oval in Paddington and at Waverley Oval in Bondi. We also train at Bat and Ball Oval in Moore Park, which will shortly undergo a million-dollar development to provide state-of-the-art facilities for our use. With our alignment to UTS Sport and its Elite Athlete Program, we are excited about our future playing footy in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Now is the time to become a Bat.
